The big news of the day is that the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Interior, Environment and Related Agencies held a mark up today for its Fiscal Year 2009 bill.  The subcommittee has recommended $850 million for the Clean Water State Revolving Fund (SRF) and $842 million for the Drinking Water SRF. These numbers are less than the Clean Water Council had requested but more than was included in the President’s Budget. Below is a summary chart of the bill and Chairman Norm Dicks’ statement from the subcommittee markup.
